Don’t believe nothing you hear about trades, free agency and the draft. Teams will lie and leak stories to reporters, but no one really knows the truth.
So, take this report about Revis and 49ers with a grain of salt from ESPN.
The 49ers’ interest in Revis is “.001 on a scale of 1-10,” the source said via text message. That remains consistent with the same team official who previously stated the 49ers were not inclined to pursue a Revis trade.
Some team will eventually overpay him and his bad knees. I remember when San Fran signed Nate Clements to a super deal and jettisoned him after the 2nd year.
