The New England Patriots are trying to gear up for another Super Bowl run, and took make it, they will need a big play wide receiver.
NESN via Armando Salguero is reporting that the Patriots are showing strong interest in free agent wide receiver Mike Wallace.
Take this for what it is worth (I see it as solid). Agent just told me he hears Patriots have some interest in Mike Wallace.

No deals can be made until March 12 at 4 p.m., and according to the league’s tampering rules “it is impermissible for a club to enter into an agreement of any kind, express or implied, oral or written, or promises, undertakings, representations, commitments, inducements, assurances of intent or understandings of any kind concerning the terms or conditions of employment offered to, or to be offered to, any prospective Unrestricted Free Agent for inclusion in a Player Contract after the starter of the new League Year.”
All indications are that the Miami Dolphins will be all in for Wallace come Tuesday, so the Patriots will definitely have to show Wallace the money.
They can definitely give Wallace the money that Wes Welker would have utilized and then some, so the next few days should get very interesting.
