USC RB Silas Redd Tears Meniscus
The USC Trojans leading rusher will be on the mend until at least the beginning of the summer. CBSSports.com is reporting that running back Silas Redd tore his meniscus, and will miss all of spring practice.
Redd will have surgery on his knee, but should be completely healthy for training camp in July, coach Lane Kiffin said Saturday.
Redd hurt his knee during practice Thursday. He watched Saturday’s workout in sweats.
The former Penn State running back led USC in rushing last season with 905 yards. The Senior is expected to start again this season.Powered by Sidelines
