Kevin Ware Tee Leg

It was a bad idea to begin with.

It didn’t matter if Louisville waived its rights to royalties or adidas decided to give a portion of the money to a scholarship fund, you shouldn’t profit at all on someone’s horrific injury.

I am glad they came to their senses.

A spokesperson for adidas told USA TODAY Sports that the company has stopped selling t-shirts with Louisville guard Kevin Ware’s No. 5 due to a “use of logo issue.”

Granted, Ware is getting more attention now, than he ever would have if he was healthy, but simple rule, if an athlete breaks his leg in half, don’t try to make a quick buck off it, with a $25 tee.
