Brian Scalabrine is a funny guy, with a cool personality. Scalabrine only averaged 3.1 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes during his 11 year NBA career.
Those are not gaudy numbers no, but he was an All Pac 10 performer and honorable mentions All American as a Senior at USC.
The reason I’m explaining this is because when you’re in the NBA and not a star, people seem to get the impression that you are a scrub.
He probably could have gone overseas and been a star who averaged double figures and put up all the shots he wanted to.
Scalabrine chose to be an NBA bench player and he made a nice living at it. He’s now retired but still seems to be taking flak from those who feel he was a scrub.
The retired Scalabrine is obviously tired of white ball players challenging him to a game of 1 on 1, because he took to twitter to deliver some ether and let any ball player that is white and not in the league know that they have no shot against him 1 on 1.
Tired of people challenging me 1on1. Let me be direct. If ur white & not N the NBA u have No chance. If ur a brother, maybe…but i doubt it
