The JaMarcus Russell train back to the NFL has slowed down a bit if not derailed in the past few days. Russell has canceled his pro day and instead will focus on trying to secure workouts with teams.
There were different reports floating around in regards to the Bears and Cardinals both or mutually having interest in Russell.
Both organizations wasted no time in refuting those rumors. Darren Urban who works for the Cardinals official website reports that the Cardinals have no interested in Russell.
Nope. RT @az_armychief: @cardschatter @kentsomers any truth to yahoo sports stating Cards are interested in JaMarcus Russell? Hope not

That would definitely make sense with the Cardinals first signing Drew Stanton and then trading for Carson Palmer. The Bears reportedly have no interest in Russell either according to the Sun Times.
Strongly believe the #Bears don’t have any real interest in former Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell. Let it go, folks.

Well I guess JaMarcus can continue those tutoring sessions with Jeff Garcia.
