Joe Flacco continues to amaze me. Over the past year, we’ve been able to get a glimpse of the Super Bowl MVP QB and how he functions off the field. In addition to eating chicken nuggets at McDonalds after landing a major contact and riding the free airport shuttle bus with everyday regular people, Flacco is now serving ice cream at the drive thru window at Dairy Queens.
The Baltimore Raven quarterback has teamed up with Dairy Queen to make a donation to the Matthew J. Cheswick Memorial Fund, according to ABC2NEWS. Cheswick was a 22-year-old, die-hard Raven fan. As a Towson University student, Cheswick was killed in a hit and run accident last year in Ocean City.
After being moved by Cheswick’s story, Flacco decided to make a $25,000 donation as well as a banner baring Matthew’s nickname “Cheese” will hang in the stands at M & T Bank Stadium during games.
