Former Rams and now Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola’s father was a high school football coach at Spring Dekaney. Spring Dekaney had just won the Class 5A Division II Championship Game back in December of 2011, when Willie Amendola and his wife, Valarie were struck by a runaway golf cart.
At the time Willie Amendola joked aout the incident.
“Did you guys get that? Wonder what the UIL is going to do about that?” Amendola told the Express-News then.
But, now they are suing Jerry Jones and Cowboys Stadium for $1 million, stating they have endured “physical pain”, “mental anguish,” “loss of earning capacity”, “loss of enjoyment and “great personal embarrassment”.
While embarrassing, I don’t know if it $1 million worth of embarrassment, but you can sue for anything these days.
