After Louisville secured the National Title by defeating Michigan 82-76 , you had to known that students on the Louisville campus would be extremely excited and ready to celebrate their great team. After the final buzzer sounded, students and fans alike rushed to the streets to celebrate being National Champions. Naturally, the police soon followed.
Campus police and Louisville police used tear gas and an armored car to get control of the massive crowd and calm disturbances. There were a reported 10 arrests and 3 injuries from the celebration.
