Reports have now confirmed that USC has reached an agreement with now former Florida Gulf Cost University head coach Andy Enfield.

ESPN has confirmed reports that Enfield was close to signing with USC, but now they have reported that the deal is official. The school announced via twitter:

“Please welcome Andy Enfield (@CoachEnfield) to the #TrojanFamilyas the new head coach of @USC_Hoops. #DunkCityUSC,” USC tweeted.

Just two weeks shy of bursting onto the national scene, the ‘dunk city’ coach has become the darling of the college basketball world. USC sought out Enfield for his uptempo style of playing and the high octane makeup that made FGCU so entertaining to watch.

Enfield is replacing Kevin O’neill who was fired in January.

  1. nba is fixed says:

SC will still suck! For some reason, the elite basketball players on the west coast do not want to go there. Despite the fact that SC built a $200 million dollar basketball arena, some of the best players will go to San Diego State Long Beach State or Cal. SC just isn’t a basketball school.
