The New York Post has details on a man being held in connection to the Boston Marathon Bombings.
Investigators have a suspect — a Saudi Arabian national — in the horrific Boston Marathon bombings, The Post has learned.
Law enforcement sources said the 20-year-old suspect was under guard at an undisclosed Boston hospital.
It was not immediately clear why the man was hospitalized and whether he was injured in the attack or in his apprehension.
At this point, we don’t know the extent of how this man was involved or if he was involved at all. Police say they have surveillance video, of a man (not identified as of yet) carry multiple backpacks around the area, that the explosion took place.
There was also a 3rd explosion, that took place at the JFK library, that hasn’t been confirmed as connected or a random coincidence. Until there is an official arrest, this should all be seen as speculation and we will keep you updated on any new developments.
Here is video of the 1st bomb going off, it is terrifying to watch.
*UPDATE*
A spokesperson with the FBI’s national press office in Washington DC declined to comment when asked about reports a suspect or person of interest had been identified in the bombings.
