Minnesota Vikings franchise running back Adrian Peterson is the latest athlete to voice his opinion on the subject of gay marriage.
During an interview with Amani Toomer on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Peterson discussed his former teammate Chris Kluwe and how outspoken he was as an advocate for gay rights.
Peterson said he does not discriminate against anyone because of their sexual preference, but he made it clear he does not support gay marriage according to NESN.
“To each his own,” Peterson said. “I’m not with it. But I have relatives that are gay. I’m not biased towards them. I still treat them the same. I love ‘em. But again, I’m not with that. That’s not something I believe in. But to each his own.”
Adrian Peterson has a right to his opinion, and he expressed it without being disrespectful nor discriminating. It’s called conversation.
