Amar’e Stoudemire has two years left on 5 year $100 million contract with the New York Knicks, and even he’s trying to finish his time as a Knick on a positive note.

Stoudemire will travel to Houston to once again to train with Hall of Fame center Hakeem Olujuwon, in the hopes of improving his post game and defensive play according to ESPN New York.

Stoudemire will continue to build on the post-up moves and defensive maneuvers he learned from Olajuwon last summer. The big reasons behind the collaboration were: (1) to give the Knicks a low-post presence, allowing Chandler to be the go-to pick-and-roller; and (2) to improve the spacing between Stoudemire andCarmelo Anthony, who had tended to crowd the court in the midrange area.

The Knicks owe Stoudemire $60 million for the next two seasons, and would love to get some kind of production from their enigma of a power forward.
