Cavs Open to Trading the #1 Pick in NBA Draft

If the Cavs were smart this is what they should do. Don’t waste your #1 pick on a big man coming into the league with a knee problem. That has been proven not to work. There isn’t a “STAR” must draft player in this crop, so it would be wise to get multiple picks and increase your chances of finding a player that develops into a star.

“You want to look at all your options and make the best decision for your team,” Cavs general manager Chris Grant said. “This is a valuable asset that we can add to the group, whether it’s in trade or keep it and add a player.”
