Alabama head coach Nick Saban has been called a lot of names over the years, but one name in particular continues to come up.
South Eastern Conference coaches don’t seemed to be to fond of Saban, and a few of them liken him to Lucifer.
Florida offensive line coach Tim Davis decided to take some shots at Saban on Tuesday while at a booster club meeting in Melbourne, Florida.
While doing a comparison between Saban and Florida Gators head coach Will Muschamp, Davis called Saban “the devil himself,” according to a report from GatorBait.net.
“I’ve always wanted to work with Will,” Davis said. “Will’s got a plan. Will coached under the devil himself for seven years. I only did three. He did seven. And his DNA is not any different than Nick.”
Davis also suggested that Muschamp is a more likeable guy also.
“[Muschamp]’s like the other guy, only he’s got a personality,” Davis said. “He’ll smile at you. He’ll talk to you. You understand? That’s what he’s all about. That’s Will. I’m proud to work for him.”
Davis of course knows his Gators won’t have to deal with “the devil himself” at all this season, unless both teams make the SEC Championship Game.
