Yesterday we reported that Miami Heat forward LeBron James, had some choice words for Indiana Pacers head coach Frank Vogel after hearing him refer to the defending champions as “just the next team.” in his postgame remarks. Only, according to Vogel, those words never came out of his mouth.
According to USA Today Sports, the Pacers head coach responded to LeBron’s comments on Monday.
“Sorry sports world, the words ‘just another team’ never came out of my mouth. Great respect for LBJ and the champs.”
All this trivial bickering won’t matter come Wednesday when this series finally gets underway, because when the ball gets tossed up words will be meaningless.
