It seems like Kobe Bryant’s mother, Pamela, is trying to lift the spirits of Los Angeles Lakers fans after their nightmarish season.
According to a story via Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report, Mrs. Bryant is set to auction off a ton of Kobe’s old jerseys and memorabilia .
His Lower Merion high school jersey from his freshman season, the lone year in which he donned No. 24, could be the main draw.
A pair of 1996 high school rings, from the McDonald’s All-American game and from his state championship, are both up for bid. Various plaques, trophies and awards are also on the docket, along with various practice uniforms once filled by a young Mamba.
ESPN’s sports business guru also made mention of the auction on his personal Twitter account.

Bryant’s championship rings won’t be among the items up for sale, but a pair issued to his parents from the team dating back to the championship run in 2000 will be available for purchase.
According to CBS Sports, Bryant’s autographed game-worn mask went for $67,100 last year, so I imagine that all his other collectibles will at least be in that range. Bryant has already supplanted himself amongst the NBA’s All-time greats so this stuff holds a lot of value.
