Carolina Panthers wideout Steve Smith’s has 11,452 receiving yards. By the time Smith retires, he would like to have around 14,000 yards, which would give him a spot in the top-10 on the NFL’s all-time list.
Smith who is entering his 13th NFL season, told the Associated Press that he would like to play 15 or 16 years in the NFL, taking him up to the 2015, or 2016 season.
“Physically I feel great right now,” said Smith, who said he battled through knee injuries last season for the first time in his career.
Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said Smith is still at the top of his game and considers him the team’s “pacesetter” each day at practice.
Smith has always been in amazing physical condition, and I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if he made to the 2016 season.
