Neymar

According to a report via ESPN FC, Brazilian soccer star Neymar, arguably the best young player in the world is set to join the man many consider to be the best, Messi, at Barcelona.

Apparently, Santos, the Brazilian club Neymar plays for, and the Spanish giants have agreed on a $32.3 million fee for the forward and will play two friendly matches, one at each club’s ¬†stadium.

This deal has been rumored for months but talks were said to be in the serious stages yesterday, with Barcelona’s rivals Real Madrid, apparently trying to sabotage the deal at the last minute with a $45.1 million offer. Neymar has stated in the past that his dream was to play for Barcelona, so any a move to the Bernabeau was always a long shot.

The signing could be made official tomorrow or Monday.
