Dwight Freeney was struggling to find a team that would allow him to continue to flourish as a pass rusher. Then San Diego Chargers stud pass Melvin Ingram tore his ACL, and things turned around for Freeney.
Ian Rapoport is reporting that Freeney and the Chargers have an agreement in place for a two-year deal according to sources.

Freeney met with the Chargers on Wednesday and Thursday even though reports surfaced that four or five teams were interested in signing him.
Talks with the Chargers continued Friday and into Saturday morning until the sides reached an agreement, according to Rapoport.
