Like any good defensive back, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark is now back pedaling on comments he made about Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
On Tuesday Clark during an appearance on ESPN, said that Tom Brady sees ghost when the pass rush starts to get to him, and will start to duck or flinch.
The Patriots and Steelers matchup this year in week 9, so either someone spoke to Clark, or he just had a change of heart, but this morning Clark had a change of heart.
This morning Clark said that Brady is the toughest quarterback in the NFL to defend.
“I have to go with the greatest living American, and that’s Tom Brady,” Clark said, via WEEI-FM. “You know, I said what I said, and I do believe it, and it’s true. But when this guy has the opportunity to set up and throw the ball to his receivers, there’s nobody better at pinpointing guys out and making plays for his team.”
