Terrell Owens was a regular Pro Bowler throughout his successful NFL career, now he’s a pro bowler in his life after football.
According to a story via Deadspin, Owens made his debut as semi-professional bowler for the Dallas Strikers, a team that he owns last week. Owens and the Strikers competed in the United States Bowling Congress Open Championship in Reno last Tuesday and Wednesday and the former NFL receiver actually had a decent performance.
The commentators were trolling kind of heavy, but it’s not anything T.O wouldn’t be used to. All in all, Owens felt like his debut went fairly well.
“The first game went pretty well,” Owens told the PBA. He rolled 185 in that game. “I’m still new to this, so when I saw some of the guys switching balls, I felt I should switch, too.” He then bowled 129 and 161 in his next games for a 475 series.
