Golden State Warriors center David Lee has provided the team an unlikely spark by returning to the playoffs after we all thought his season was over after tearing a hip muscle in the first round against the Nuggets.
Lee played nearly 8 minutes in the overtime win over the Spurs, and has given the Warriors some emotional spark. Lee is not the same player following the hip flexor injury and told NBA.com that he’ll most likely have surgery in the off-season.
At some point Lee should be shut down. Short of a few rebounds and some emotional energy, David Lee can’t really offer the Warriors much of anything.
