Warriors F David Lee Has Surgery On Hip Flexor

Golden State power forward David Lee strained and tore a muscle in his hip flexor during the first round series against the Denver Nuggets and was supposed to miss the remainder of the playoffs.

Lee instead returned a couple of games later, and even though he wasn’t the same player, his heart inspired his Warriors teammates through an impressive playoff run.

Yesterday according to Pro Basketball Talk, Lee had surgery on his hip flexor, but should be ready for the start of training camp.

Lee averaged 18.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game and earned himself an All Star selection.
