NFL: JAN 31 Super Bowl XLVI Media Day - New England Patriots

The hole is getting deeper and deeper for Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez. Police are now back at his home after they discovered he may have destroyed crucial evidence in their ongoing murder investigation.

Police are back at the home of New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez today with another warrant based on evidence that “he destroyed his home security system,” an investigator close to the case told ABC News.

The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system – which included video surveillance – was smashed intentionally.

And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators “in pieces” by his attorneys, the sources said.

Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez’s mansion, sources told ABC News.

Police believe Odin Lloyd was murdered sometime in the early hours of Monday morning, which makes the hiring of the cleaners suspicious.

It is getting to the point now where Hernandez is going to have to make a decision to come clean about what he knows or become the fall guy.

We will see what he chooses.

In keeping with current criteria to qualify for the nfl…I see mr. hernandez is right on target.

He fell into the trap of not leaving behind friends and a life he should have left behind.

This is very strange. If he wasn’t involved, why go through the motions of covering up things that could possibly rule him out as a suspect. Most NFL players are willing to help with investigations when their name is brought up.
I hope this isn’t true, but I have a feeling Aaron Hernandez’s NFL career and freedom is over. So sad!

Think the man had better consult w/Ray Lewis not to be confused w/Ray Carruth.

My first take on all of the news about this is, Oh great another criminal from the NFL.
My second take would be, is this a sports forum or the new crime page where sports fans get to evaluate evidence and speculate on a man’s guilt or innocence. Perhaps this kind of stuff should be left to crime writers and leave sports writers to do what they do best.
