Amar’e Stoudemire seems to be aware that his window for playing basketball is closing, and has tried to build a nice portfolio off the court.

CBSSports.com is reporting that Stoudemire is in talks to talks to join a group purchasing Israeli basketball club Hapoel Jerusalem.

Hapoel Jerusalem currently competes in the Israeli Basketball Super League — the top division in Israel.  Stoudemire sent out a Tweet expressing his excitement for the venture.

Stoudemire has recently taken the initiative to explore his Hebrew roots.
