The New York Knicks were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in the second round on May 18th. The NBA Finals are currently underway and it is June 7th today. But according to Wordonthegame, Carmelo still leads the NBA in playoff shots this postseason.
Melo attempted 310 field goals in his 12 games before the Pacers eliminated the Knicks.
LeBron, who is in second place and 12 shots back will likely pass Melo in Game 2 of the Finals. For now, Melo has the lead despite playing five fewer playoff games than LeBron and scoring 91 fewer points.
