The Cincinnati Bengals have quietly been one of the most consistent teams in the NFL over the last two seasons, making playoff appearances in both and becoming one of the best teams in a division traditionally always dominated by the Ravens and Steelers.
Now, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Inquirer, the Bengals will be the latest team to be featured on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’.
If you remember, the Bengals were featured on the series back in 2009 when they had the likes of boisterous wide receiver Chad Johnson and quarterback Carson Palmer. The Bengals now feature one of the best young receivers in the league in AJ Green and the young signal caller Andy Dalton.
It’ll be interesting to see whether or not the series being filmed alters the team’s success this season. When they were last on the series, they went on to win the AFC North.
