Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged was arrested Saturday morning in Washington, D. C. on gun charges, according to CBSSports.com.
The 25-year-old Lefeged was in a car with another man when police tried to pull them over. The two took off, and a police chase ensued, said Officer Araz Alali, a D.C. police spokesman.
Alali also said A handgun was found inside the vehicle.
Lefeged and Timothy Wilson will be arraigned Saturday on charges that include carrying a gun without license, unregistered firearm, unregistered ammunition and presence of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
