Darrelle Revis is looking forward to joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs secondary, which was once an eye sore, is not potentially the best secondary in the NFL.
Revis will team with Mark Barron and hard-hitting former 49ers safety Dashon Goldson to bring some physicality and ball hawking to the Buccaneers secondary.
Revis, while at his football camp in his hometown of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, paid Goldson the ultimate compliment, calling him the best safety in the league according to The Times Online.
“He is the best safety in the league, as of today. And I’m saying that boldly,” Revis said, a wide smile on his face. “No knock on Troy (Polamalu) and all of those guys, but he’s the best, and he’s only in his eighth year, which is awesome. He’s Batman. I’m Robin.”
A healthy and happy Revis teaming with the hard-hitting safeties will make life difficult for every offense they face.
