Remember D Wade was the mastermind behind the formation of the Big 3. He also envision himself on the same level as LeBron James.
He figured LeBron would do all the work and he would be the closer. If the Heat faltered, LeBron would get all the blame and for a while that is exactly how it worked.
But, then LeBron became Jay-Z and Wade turned into Damon Dash. It is starting to bother Wade and you can see it in his comments.
“We’ve got to do a better job, all of us, helping get each other involved in the game,” he said moments before Bosh spoke in a funereal Miami Heat locker room. “We’ve got to do a better job of making sure me and Chris can have opportunities to succeed.”
“We’ve got to try to figure it out in this locker room,” he said, “and not leave it to an individual to self-will it.”
I don’t know if that is a subtle dig at LeBron or Coach Spo, but the frustration is mounting for Wade. It is difficult for an Alpha Male to take a step back and it is written all over Wade’s face he isn’t very happy now. If Miami bows out against the Pacers or Spurs it will be Wade taking the Heat, no pun intended.
