New York Giants v Baltimore Ravens

New York Giants stud defensive end has gone the route of Rob Gronkowski, and will have back surgery today in California according to Pro Football Talk.

The procedure is reportedly being performed by Dr. Robert Watkins, the same doctor who’ll operate later this month on Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Pierre-Paul is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season, but its unclear at this time how much of training camp he’s scheduled to miss.

Pierre-Paul played with the back injury in 2012, and he received multiple injections to get through the season.

That explains the significant drop off in production. Hope he is good to next season.
