Joerger served as an assistant coach for Hollins since 2007 and is seen by the Grizzlies organization as the perfect candidate to take over the vacant position.
Ken Berger of CBS Sports, says that the team will officially announce the hiring at a news conference later this week.

The Grizzlies are taking a pretty big gamble here by allowing Hollins to leave after he lead to the team to heights it had never seen before. Good NBA coaches don’t grow on trees, they better hope the unproven Joergen is the coach they think he is.
