It seems like LeBron James is going to use every resource available to him to make sure he isn’t on the receiving end of another Gregg Popovich-Tim Duncan, butt whooping in the NBA Finals.
Photos of the Miami Heat forward working on his agility and endurance in a gym, were posted on his personal website before his team squares off against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 tonight.
James says that he still harbors ill-will towards to Spurs after they eliminated his 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers team in somewhat easy fashion.
“I have something in me that they took in ’07; beat us on our home floor, celebrated on our home floor,” James said during his NBA Finals press conference. “I won’t forget that. You shouldn’t as a competitor. You should never forget that.
“It’s the same group of guys, for the most part. The same Big Three, and Coach [Gregg] Pop[ovich]. And I look forward to the challenge once again.”
This is going to be good.
