With the use of a true fullback decreasing around the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens were unable to trade prized lead blocker Vonta Leach.
So after still not being able to restructure his contract, the Ravens have cut Leach according to Pro Football Talk.
Leach was due a $3 million base salary for the 2013 season, which was the final year of a three-year deal he signed with Baltimore before the 2011 season.
The Ravens drafted Kyle Juszczyk in the fourth round of this years draft, and he should fill Leach’s bulldozer role at a cheaper price.
