It might be time for Major League Baseball to implement a rule where pitchers have to wear helmets, because this is happening too much lately.
Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Alex Cobb, was drilled in the head by a line drive off the bat of Kansas City first baseman Eric Hosmer, during a game today, and had to be stretchered off the field.
Per the excellent @TampaBayTK, Alex Cobb was hit in right ear, conscious the whole time, "all signs are good for now."
