Report: Celtics And Nets Discussing Trade For Garnett, Pierce

Celtics president Danny Ainge is hell-bent on starting his franchise over, if it makes them terrible enough to get into the Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Celtics and Brooklyn Nets are working on a blockbuster deal that would send Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to Brooklyn.

The parameters of the deal reportedly include the Nets sending a package that includes the expiring deal of Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Tomike Shenglia and three first-round picks to Boston for the two Hall of Fame forwards.

Garnett has yet to be approached about waiving his no-trade clause, sources said.
