Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade has had an up and down playoffs this year. While he has shown flashes of brilliance in the last two games of the NBA Finals, many have wondered whether the superstar is beginning to become washed up.
His knee bruise has been well documented and even though Wade has been unwilling to address it for the most part, many know just by watching him play that he doesn’t look like his old self. Now we find out via Dr. Robert Klapper, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Group, that Wade has a much serious problem in his other knee as well.
Dwayne Wade's knees are both chronic arthritis in one and acute bone bruise in the other. Treatment is DIFFERENT for each. Heroic effort!

Athletes don’t get as much credit as they should with playing through injuries at times.
Perhaps this news makes Wade’s declining play a bit more understandable.
