Jay-Z is serious about making Roc Nation Sports a serious force in the sports agency business. He is swinging for the fences and may lock up the 2nd best NBA player on the planet.
Kevin Durant is leaving Landmark Sports. Sources expect him to join Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.

If Durant follows through on what he has been telling family members is his plan, he will look to partner with the Roc Nation sports agency that is headed by music mogul Jay-Z. Yet it appears his interest is only in the marketing opportunities that could come from the partnership and that he does not have a desire to be represented by the agent who works with Roc Nation, Leon Rose of the Creative Artists Agency.
If Durant signs he will immediately become Roc Nation signature client to go along with the likes of Geno Smith, Skylar Diggins and others.
Jay-Z has always said he isn’t a Businessman, he’s a BUSINESS MAN.
Kevin Durant has dabbled in rap music, so could be a motivation for the potential signing, very similar to the reason DeSean Jackson is interesting in Roc Nation.
