According to a report via Mike Mazzeo of ESPN New York, the Brooklyn Nets are looking to add more firepower to their already loaded roster.
The Brooklyn Nets have interest in free-agent sharpshooter Kyle Korver, a source told ESPNNewYork.com.
Korver, 32, would give the Nets the shooting off the bench they covet, in light of the blockbuster trade they agreed to in principle with the Boston Celtics on Thursday night. He shot 45.7 percent from 3-point range last season and is a career 41.9 percent shooter from beyond the arc.
Korver is also a friend of Nets point guard Deron Williams from their Utah Jazz days.
This would be a great addition to the Nets roster, because as we saw throughout the playoffs, shooters are an absolute necessity if reaching the NBA Finals is the ultimate goal which undoubtedly it is.
