When in doubt, just say you are crazy and hope to get a lighter sentence. That is what Titus Young attorney is hoping for and that’s why his court proceedings have been delayed again.

Young’s attorney, Altus W. Hudson II, requested the delay because he has not been able to get a psychiatrist to evaluate Young in the Orange County jail where Young is being held.

Judge Andre Manssourian earlier granted a motion by Young’s lawyer to have a psychiatrist of his choosing evaluate Young’s mental condition in jail. But Hudson said Young is still considered “on hold” by the jail and is not allowed visitors. He said he doesn’t know when Young will be able to have visitors, or when the psychiatrist will be allowed to perform an evaluation.

His family is refusing to post the $75k Bail to set him free, they believe it is best for his own safety that he stays behind bars.

I believe they are correct. For his own safety and that of others.
