I respect what Tony Romo is doing, but after year and years of mediocrity in Dallas (in terms of team success) I just don’t care.
He is the quarterback and the quarterback’s job is to lead by default, so take these comments with a grain of salt. Romo was talking about the Cowboys roster recently and let it be known that this is a special team.
“This is one of the most complete teams that I’ve been around,” he said, via Dan Hanzus of NFL.com.
“It’s going to be a very enjoyable football season.”
“I signed one when I first got into the league, and this is my third,” Romo said. “It’s a great thing that the team believes in you and they think you’re the guy that will take them where they want to go. It makes you work and get to a point where you can bring everybody a Super Bowl.”
I wonder how enjoyable the season will be if the Cowboys end up 8-8 again watching the playoffs at home.
Just go win, Romo. That’s the only thing that will silence the critics.
