Deciding to do his off-season workouts at home was costly for 49ers cornerback, Tarell Brown. According to Yahoo! Sports, Brown’s 2013 salary was set to be $2.925 million, which is the final year of his contract, but due to skipping team workouts, the $2 million bonus was voided and his salary was reduced to $925,000. Brown also missed out on an additional $75,000 workout bonus.
Maybe Brown was making a statement about wanting a new contract and was willing to lose out on over $2 million to state his cause.
