Tyler Seguin

According to a story courtesy Jeff Simmons of Sportsnet, the Boston Bruins have sent talented center Tyler Seguin, to the Dallas Stars, in a blockbuster, 7-player trade.

The Boston Bruins have traded forward Tyler Seguin, Rich Peverley and Ryan Button to the Stars in exchange for Loui Eriksson, Reilly Smith, Joe Morrow and Matt Fraser.

Seguin, 21, is set to earn a salary cap hit of $5.75 million until 2018-19.

The No. 2 overall pick in 2010 scored 16 goals and 16 assists in 48 games this season. He is expected to fit in with scoring winger Jamie Benn on the top line in Dallas.

Eriksson, the main player going back to the Bruins, has scored 25-plus goals in four of the past five seasons and has three years at $4.25 million per, remaining on his contract.
