Yasiel Puig came to the MLB with high expectations from everyone, and he has definitely lived up to the hype. The Cuban baseball star was destined to be a star in the MLB. Yesterday in an extra innings game against the Reds, Puig showed once again why he’s nothing to mess with when he comes up to bat Yahoo Sports reports.
The game was tied 0-0, with Reds pitchers being able to accumulate 20 strikeouts against the Dodgers. Even Puig struck out 3 times in the game. However, it was the bottom of the 11th inning, and Puig was not going to miss again. In dramatic fashion, he swung and hit his first career walk-off HR to end the game.
Puig hasn’t even completed a full season, but the lift that he has given the Dodgers since joining the team is tremendous. Expect more to come from this MLB star.
