This would have had a lot better chance of happening if the Spurs made a free throw, collected a rebound or Jesus misses that 3 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Word on the Game is reporting via Alex Kennedy of Hoops World, that the Lakers will make a strong push for LeBron in 2014 when he opts out of the last year of his contract and becomes a free agent again.
It will be an uphill battle, unless something really unusual happens with the Heat. Even though D Wade is declining, the Heat will be the favorites to win the NBA title, if they three peat, no way LeBron is leaving.
I hope the Lakers have a plan B, C, D and E because banking on LeBron will be a long shot at best.
What's next for the L.A. Lakers? They'll try to make a run in the 2013-14 season and then make a run at LeBron James, according to sources.
