At this point I am just going to assume Aaron Hernandez shot Tupac, Biggie and Big L. It is astonishing to me the amount of times Hernandez’s name is showing up in violent crimes, but no one ever knew about it. Except Florida when they were paying people off to make sure Hernandez didn’t go to jail.

The latest attempted murder that Hernandez was never charged for comes courtesy of Larry Brown Sports.  The details are all too familiar.

On Sept. 30, 2007, two men say they had left a nightclub with a friend when someone opened fire on their car when they were stopped at a red light. Corey Smith, who was 28 at the time and sitting in the front passenger seat, was shot in back of the head. Justin Glass, 19 at the time and driving, was shot in the arm. Randall Cason, who was in the back seat, was unharmed.

Witnesses said the shooter was a black male, but Cason told police there were two suspects. He described the shooter as a “Hawaiian” or “Hispanic” male with a large muscular build who stood about 6-foot-3 or 6-foot-4 and weighed 230 or 240 pounds and had a lot of tattoos. He identified the black male with the shooter as former Gator Reggie Nelson, who was a rookie with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the time. Nelson later said he had been at the club but denied any involvement.

“As they were waiting for the light to change, the Hawaiian football player and Reggie Nelson walked up to their car on the right side,” Cason told detectives, according to the police report. “Then without saying a work [sic], the Hawaiian pointed a small handgun in the front right window and fired five quick shots. Cason saw Smith slump over with blood coming out of the back of the head, at which time the Hawaiian and Nelson took off running towards McDonald’s.”

This is very similar to the shooting Hernandez is being investigated for that happened 2012.  It must be noted that Hernandez and Nelson was never charged with the shooting. The witness mysteriously changed his story at a later time (funny how that happens a lot at Florida).  But, now people are checking in to see exactly why Hernandez wasn’t charged and could he be linked to those crimes.

The  Gainesville PD is upset that people are leaking their reports and says the investigation is still open in a statement released on Facebook.

The Gainesville Police Department has not released any incident report concerning this case, due to it being an open criminal investigation.  Any alleged reports currently circulating may or may not be accurate, since the Gainesville Police Department did not release any reports.  The origin of these alleged reports is unknown.

Due to the case being classified as an open criminal investigation, the Gainesville Police Department will not be releasing an incident report nor commenting on this open investigation.

Could this all be a coincidence?  Just a guy who was always at the wrong place at the wrong time or is this someone who has been a violent criminal all his life?  That is up for you to decide.
