The Oakland Raiders are the epitome of mediocre and poor money management. As we reported earlier, the Raiders owe former #1 pick JaMarcus Russell $3 million from a dispute involving his rookie contract.
Now according to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Raiders have been so inept for so many years, that this fiscal year alone, the Raiders will have to shell out $49.6 million to players who won’t even be on their roster.

The Oakland Raiders, who are already on the hook for $49.6 million in dead money this season to players no longer on the roster, are cutting a check to another former player in the next couple of weeks.
