As the entire buzz around Seahawks camp swirls around Percy Harvin’s potentially season-ending hip injury, the Seahawk’s other well-known receiver, Sidney Rice quietly headed to Switzerland for a procedure on his knee. Yahoo Sports reports Coach Pete Carroll did confirm that the procedure is non-surgical and that Rice won’t miss any games either in the preseason or the regular season.
However, optimistic Carroll has been lately, first with Harvin’s injury and now with Rice’s injury, it seems rather ominous for the team that both of the star WR’s are experiencing physical limitations. In addition to that, any injury, no matter how seemingly small, seems to suggest that there could be greater problems down the line.
I would be surprised if Rice went through the entire 2013 season without missing any games.
