You had to have known this was coming.
Shaq has never shied away from an opportunity to give his two cents on one Dwight Howard. The former Los Angeles Lakers center has spoken unflattering words about Howard, on more than one occasion in the past, in what he claims are motivational tactics.
Well in a story via Mark Long of Yahoo! Sports, Shaq, who was speaking at the Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, shared his thoughts when asked about Howard spurning the Lakers in favor of the Houston Rockets, and unsurprisingly, he fired some verbal shots.
”It was expected,” Shaq said. ”We’ve all been in LA, and not a whole lot of people can handle being under the bright lights. Everybody wants to do it, but when you get there, there are certain pressures. I think it was a safe move for him to go to a little town like Houston. That’s right, little town. I said it.”
